Rutebeskrivelse
From Rachkida, the path starts on an agricultural road going down, then continues through a relatively dense bushes till it reaches the river. Shortly after reaching the river, u have a stone bridge with a old water mill. We walked on the river bank, upstream, having the river on our left. Three relatively hard passages on the way, but otherwise flat and easy. We reached a point where vegetation completely blocked the way, and had to go back. Probably on the second river bank the path was easier... to be re-tried some day. Going uphill to Rachkida is quite an exercise, (270 m up over 1.2 Km), not to be taken lightly for beginners

I am planning to go hiking from Kaftoun to Rachkida.
I am wondering whether there is path along the river. Do you know?
In your description you mention thick vegetation blocking the way ! So is there a way? Which bank of the river is easier ? Left or right?

Hello Marc,
If I remember well, the path we took was quite blocked. I am not even sure anymore if we were on the left or right bank... Sorry this is not much of a help :)
