This short but challenging hike leads to views out over Victoria & Strait of Georgia to the mainland mountains. During this late spring hike, the trailside was covered with wild flowers.

The steeper sections of the trail have chains on posts to assist your climb. At the shaded, bottom section of the trail you will cross over sections of the decommissioned concrete water line that used to bring fresh water from the Sooke Reservoir to Victoria. The upper section is out in full sun.

The Retreads Hiking Club gives this hike an AVA rating of 4 C.
