Las cuevas to pico turquino descenden.if you want start hiking from las cuevas you have to be on gate of national park before 7.00 o'clock am than you can catch mountain guides to Pico turquino..you have to pay 35 pesos per person and you can start with guide ...take 3 litre water for go and back... we start with ilaida Martinez...he is good person and guide...and also you can meet with seniora Nereida on the way about 4. Km in small house she is preparing nice chicken rice and soup...you can enjoy with cold beer on the way back....we started morning at 7 am and finished afternoon at 5 pm ...
