למטיבי לכת. ביציאה מבי"ס שדה יש שער שננעל בימים חמים מדי או כשיש חשש לשטפונות. הקונצרטינה שבראשו חוסמת רק את מחצית רוחבו. גם שמורת נחל דוד נסגרת כשיש חשש לשטפונות ואז סיום המסלול עובר דרך תל גורן. בקניון נחל דוד עליון יש שלושה מפלים בדרך למפל הענק אשר ממנו רצינו להשקיף כלפי מטה. אחד בקצה הערוץ שדרכו הגענו לנחל דוד ושניים בדרך למפל הענק. את השניים הראשונים הצלחנו לעבור אבל השלישי נראה לנו מסוכן מדי ללא חבל. אפשר לעקוף את הקניון העליון אם ממשיכים בדרך השחורה ופונים שמאלה באדומה

For experienced hikers. The gate at the beginning of the trail (exit from the Field School) is closed in very hot days or when there is a danger of floods. Passing above it is at your own risk. The Nahal-David nature reserve is also closed when there is danger of floods, in which case the trail ends through Tel-Goren. In the upper Canyon there are three waterfalls on the way to the giant waterfall look-out. We only passed two, as the third one looked to us too dangerous without a rope. There is a way around the upper canyon through dirt roads.
