The trail is very easy to follow and well marked.
There is a slight change in it after the renovation that took place at Wadi Hub so the starting point moved a little bit but then it merges back with the normal track.
I consider it moderate because of the elevation which might be tough for some people.
Reaching the starting point is so easy as it starts from Hatta Wadi Hub which has so many activities and facilities to use.
The views are nice. At some spots (especially while going down from Hatta sign) people with fear of heights need to take care a bit (but only at one or 2 spots).
Having proper snacks (nuts, dates, bananas) is recommended.
