DOL 06-Cueva de nieve - Sas dla Crusc // Snow cave - Sas dla Crusc

<<< English follows >>> Esta ruta sale de Badia, en donde dejamos el coche. Subimos dos telesillas hasta la ermita de la Santa Croce. Allí está también el refugio La Crusc. Una vez en el refugio, tomamos dirección norte por una subida no muy difícil, siguiendo el camino que lleva a la cueva de la nieve. Estamos en el Parque Natural Fanes-Senes-Braies. La cueva es en realidad una acumulación de nieve junto a la cara oeste de una enorme pared de piedra. El aire caliente hace que se funda la parte inferior de esa placa de nieve, posibilitando el paso por debajo. La altura no es demasiada y no se puede caminar de pie. Tras visitar la cueva, volvemos hasta el refugio para almorzar. Tras un pequeño descanso, continuamos ahora hacia el sur, en dirección al paso de Val de Medesc, siguiendo la cara oeste del Sas dla Crusc. Esta parte de la ruta es plana, sobre suelo de roca, no muy cómodo para los pies. Se camina por un bosque pero la pista forestal es ancha y no hay mucha sombra de los árboles. Paramos para comer y damos la vuelta sobre nuestros pasos, hacia el refugio. Antes de llegar él, giramos al oeste por el camino 13. La idea es bajar hasta la estación superior del telesilla 1. En este camino podremos ver diferentes estaciones de vía crucis. Al llegar al telesilla 1, lo tomamos para volver al parking. <<< English >>> This hike starts at Badia, where we leave the car. We take two chairlifts to the hermitage of Santa Croce. There is also the La Crusc hut. Once at the hut, we head north along a not very difficult climb, following the path that leads to the snow cave. We are at the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park. The cave is actually an accumulation of snow next to the west face of a huge stone wall. The hot air causes the lower part of the snow plate to melt, making it possible to pass underneath. The height is not too high and you can not stand up. After visiting the cave, we return to the hut for a quick snack. After a short rest, we continue now towards the south, towards the pass of Val de Medesc, following the west face of the Sas dla Crusc. This part of the route is flat, on rock floor, not very comfortable for the feet. You walk through a forest but the forest trail is wide and there is not much shade from the trees. We stop to eat and turn around, towards the hut. Before arriving, we turn west following path 13. The idea is to go down to the upper station of the chairlift 1. On this road we can see different stops of Via Crucis. When we reach chairlift 1, we take it to go back to the parking.
