Directions: Park at the Beach Access at the intersection of the Old Island Highway and Beach Terrace, walk west along the beach to Kinkade Road and turn left at the beach access by the sewer pumping station (look for the large green BC Hydro electrical box and a single power pole just off the beach). Follow Kinkade Road across the Highway and enter the municipal forest through the silver locked gate. This Lot belongs to the Town of Qualicum Beach and contains the main wells that provide the Town with its drinking water. Follow the road through the forest to the Little Qualicum River, turn left and follow the trail along the river and up the hill to Andreeff Road. Turn left again and follow Andreeff Road to Laburnum Road. Take a short jog to the left, then turn right and follow the right-of-way along the railroad to Hoy Lake Road. At the stop sign, turn right and follow the road to where it crosses Grandon Creek. Turn left at the bench, take the stairs down to Grandon Creek and descend along the creek to Crescent Road. Turn left on Crescent, then left again on to Beach Terrace, cross the highway and return to the beach access at the beginning.
