Nice and easy treck to this isolated and characteristic volcano near Martuni, on the southern shore of lake Sevan. On the top there is a church and a lake inside the volcano crater. Without any difficulty, on a clear day, it offers some nice views over Ararat and lake Sevan.
There is an unpaved road ascending to the top, but in March it was covered by snow and we just hiked straight up, and came down looking for snow slopes to slide down.
