Área Recreativa Sedilla-Pozancón-Collado de la Monticara-Cerro El Fuerte-Valle del río Encina-Pozanca-Área Recreativa Sedilla

This route from Área Recreativa Sedilla, where parking is available, up to Collado de la Jilana follows a well defined forest tracks and mountain paths. From the Collado to Cerro El Fuerte the track is less well defined and a bit exposed, but the effort is rewared for the scenery at the top. This is a good location for a rest and to enjoy the refreshments you must bring with you. The return route is similar the the climb, but takes in a level path along the Rio Encina valley with great views. The entire circut is 12.5Km. Total ascent is 768m.
