Parked opposite local pub - Rose & Thistle Inn.
Starting pin is actually the campsite we stayed at but started hike at the Rose Thistle Inn.
First part of hike follows lane out of Alwinton then splits on to public right of way path. One or two sections were hard to see trail but overall not bad. Last 2 miles is a forest rd then easy grass path all the back to start.
