Rutebeskrivelse
An afternoon walk around a beautiful part of the upper Wye valley. Spectacular colours on a fine autumn day, Steep with indistinct paths in places, but generally easy to follow. The best starting point is the lay-by at the Pont Marteg bridge on the A470 north of Rhayader - drop down from there to the footbridge over the Wye. Gilfach Farm (Radnor wildlife trust - turn right at Pont Marteg) also definitely worth a visit.
