Another classic hike in the Madrid surroundings, it will take you about an hour to get there by car or you can go by train to Puerto de Navacerrada train station from Atocha (C9 Line). As you may know near the capital city it's always full of day-trippers, so if you go by car try to be an early bird otherwise the car park could be full.
At the beginning of the trail there're hotels and restaurants with food, drinks and toilets. Along the trail there're springs for drinking water.
Technical difficulty: moderate
Material: hiking, no poles are needed unless you carry a huge backpack.
Time: around 4 1/2 hours including stops for lunch and pictures
