The estuary of Sungai Pandan was previously swampy and sustained prawn farming until the mid-60s. The raised dyke now contains the water of the reservoirs, and is obviously home to a large number of monitor lizards - in this circuit, I saw at least 14 separate monitors. Here was the first...
