Rutebeskrivelse
The next waterfalls can be seen from the west bank of the river: Hlauptungufoss (1.8 km), Midfoss (2.3 km) and Brúarfoss (3.5 km). Once you reach Brúarfoss after crossing the bridge we did a mistake and we follow the path that took you to the parking instead of the real path so we went back until the bridge and took the right path.
The return path goes along birches and the river can't be seen. Then it goes next to the gravel road. Also, almost at the end, we needed to cross a ditch and it was easy because it was full with snow so it could be that the last part of this path can't be followed without snow to help you crossing the ditch, so another way to cross the ditch must be found.
I classified the walk as moderate since the path next to the waterfalls is very muddy and slippery so depending on the season, definitely, is not a walk for everyone and not without proper shoes.
