How to Get There:
We can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport and taken to the villa, where you will be provided with a car for the duration of your stay. This will not be included in the price of your holiday. Public transport consists of the local mini-busses or “Dolmus” the average flat rate is about 1 €. They stop anywhere along route to take on or put down passengers. Remarkably cheap and efficient, they give a good insight into local lifestyle. These busses travel all through the night in high season.
When you are ready to leave the serenity of the garden, there are two beautiful private beaches by clear aqua sea for your enjoyment. Both are fifteen minute walk away or a few minutes away by car.
The large beach (above) is more popular with families and boasts a café-bar*, two diving jetties and a safe children’s paddling lagoon. The more energetic can enjoy the badminton and volleyball area.
There is also brightly painted open bus that travels there and back to beaches there times a day. The beaches have definite characters of their own.The other, quieter beach (below), reached by winding steps through a cool scented bay-tree wood has a café and a beautiful swimming bay. Both have showers and toilet facilities.
Information: All the main bureaux de exchanges are situated in Bodrum, it is adviseable to change your money when visiting the town. All the beach bars and cafes in Hekimkoy operarte a ticket system to exclude the general public.

Restaurants and Cafes: Turkish food is delicious and there is plenty of variety, from the quick snacks of Gozleme (pancakes with different fillings) Turkish pizzas and kebabs to the more traditional fare of stews and mezzes, vegetarian will never get bored!
There are wonderful fish restaurants, in Gumusluk and Turkbuku as well as a huge number of restaurants in Bodrum itself. Bodrum town has many attractions including the 11th century castle, and the exclusive chic marina area. For a wild time the nightlife is frenetic with many clubs and music bars to suit all tastes.
Shopping is a recognized pastime – carpet and jewellery shops abound. But if it’s fresh food you’re after head for the huge covered market and pick up exotic spices or a kilo of luscious fresh figs.
The local mini-market will cater for immediate needs, but if a greater variety of choice is required there are several larger supermarkets a short drive away. A delightful cafe bar with seating beneath softly lit olive trees, will serve you drinks and snacks in the evenings. Both market and cafe are positioned a couple of minutes’ walk from the villa. There are also two tennis courts, and a children’ play area.
