Makronisos part 2

This is my second trip to Makronisos visiting the north/west part of the island. The weather planning of such trip has to be very accurate and rather with good conditions.

All three sites give information such as wind speed/direction and wave hight etc.

I did 25.8 km distance with a 3-5 Beaufort wind and a 0.7m max wave but with mostly favorable wind directions considering different kayak destination vectors and that was still tough with the particular kayak. I would suggest the same trip with a wind 2-3 Beaufort max for the same distance for a more enjoyable and safe trip.

The trip is definitely worth a while and the particular location seams to offer great landscapes. I would think it’s worth walking on the island.
