It was about to be my first 80k/50m mountain race and I was looking fwd to this one for quite a long time (since Sept actually when I signed up). Unfortunately, due to heavy snow fall just 3-4days before the race (sthg not observed in Pelion for last 25y!), the big route was cancelled and alternative, 26km long, one was announced just 1day before :-/ Since I was not ready for a speed run, but rather long run/walk race, I had to do this one as an adventure :-P Anyway, the region is very nice and at least I got to enjoy awesome views. Definitely will be back next year...
